Harry Styles was just asked about Liam Payne’s
shocking new accent and THIS is what he had To say! Let’s get into what happened! Apart from that WILD Oscars incident that
was all over the internet this week, another Weird moment that also caught everyone’s attention
– happened that same night. Liam Payne was being interviewed about the
Will-Jada-and-Chris situation by Good Morning Britain. He shocked viewers by debuting a new accent–that
if we had to guess– was kind of a mix of His UK roots and a bit of an American southern
twang? “But I had to leave my chair, I’ll be
honest with you. It cut me really deep. And I don’t get deep about these things,
but I’m a big movie fan. I’ll be honest with you.” Hmmm…. Interesting accent indeed… Needless to say, Liam’s articulation had
the internet very confused, causing his Oscar Interview to go viral! So, as someone who has spent a lot of time
with Liam, being bandmates in One Direction, Harry Styles was asked about the baffling
accent in a recent Capital Breakfast interview. And to be fair, all the former one-D boys
have varying U-K accents, but this is what Harry had to say about accents evolving. “I think it’s a little bit all over the
place because I’m from up north and I’ve Lived in London for 10 years and I’ve spent
a lot of time in America and stuff so…” Ok, we totally get how accents can be influenced
by where you live and your day-to-day surroundings. But Harry thinks he’s holding on to his
UK accent just fine! “I think when I’m with Americans they
don’t think I sound American at all. Then I think sometimes when I’m with English
people they expect me to sound American, I Don’t think I do.” Although, he did say this about his accent
and what he does when he’s around Americans Or Brits. “Maybe I, you know, I picked up some couple
bits along the way. But I try to translate for whoever I’m with.” Harry, we love your accent-regardless! And we’d love to see how you switch up your
style of speech from “Harry talking to Americans”
To “Harry’s talking to fellow UK residents!” Either way, anything you say just makes us
